Sales Manager

One of the pillars and drivers of the business growth, the Sales Manager’s mission is to develop new business opportunities in a specific country of the Central and Eastern European area. The Sales Manager will report to the Deputy General Manager.

Required:

- Minimum 5 years experience in growing business with the public sector auctions;

- Experience in dealing with the key stakeholders in the public sector operations;

- Deep knowledge of the financing options for integrated software/hardware/solutions from the government, European Union and other channel;

- Previous experience in doing business outside Romania, preferably in CEE.

- Advanced Business level English;

- Available for travel up to 50% of the time;

- Advanced Russian or Turkish language is a big plus

Application Manager Bucharest

Forr one of our clients, a leading provider microcontroller and analog semiconductors we are looking for a application manager.
The Application Manager is responsible for group development, technical leadership, education, execution and performance to schedules. He/she should be a self motivated, goal oriented leader who can work well with customers (both internal and external). They should have managerial skills that will allow them to manage and mentor their team. They will engage with Microchip customers and internal teams to identify opportunities to enhance the Microchip IP and provide customers with starting points that will improve their development process and will decrease their time to market. Finally, they will create and manage schedules and track progress to goals.

• Manage the application team;
• Manage technical projects;
• Interact with the Divisional Mangers, as well as the Engineering groups, the European Sales Team and their customers;
• Develop applications using the entire range of PIC microcontrollers: system design, hardware design, software development and integration;
• Develop and present technical training to customers, FAEs, CAEs and field sales for newly developed demo boards, reference designs, application notes and application libraries;
• Assist customers in developing PICmicro applications using demo boards, reference designs, application notes or application libraries and troubleshooting projects;
• Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in developing electronic applications, preferably knowledge and experience working on microcontroller based systems designs;
• Broad based knowledge of applications that utilize Microchip solutions;
• Relevant experience in designing application systems, designing hardware (digital, analog), programming in C and assembly programming languages;
• Board/hardware bring up experience;
• Proven success of leading a team;
• Min 2 years of experience in managing projects;
• Experience using Microchip development tools (MPLABX) would be desired;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; good knowledge of written and spoken English;

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads a team of Sales representatives Demand creators in the assigned area
• Deliver sales targets and other KPIs within the assigned area
• Maintenance of the short and long term development plans for channel customers, execution of sales contracts and leading negotiation in line with commercial policy
• Develops and maintains area channel strategy and deploys resources

Senior Technical Manager, Timisoara

Coordonează alinierea specificaţiilor de produs luând în considerare capacităţile de fabricare a uzinei pentru a asigura metodele de producţie cele mai practice şi eficiente.
Se asigură că orarele de întreţinere pentru echipament, maşinării şi instalaţii sunt urmărite şi executate astfel incat asigura siguranţa şi calitatea tehnică.
Monitorizează continuu toate activităţile de producţie pentru a asigura o operare optimă şi o folosire adecvată a tehnologiei.
Propune planuri tehnice şi le conduce pe cele aprobate pentru a facilita optimizarea producţiei.
Aprobă necesarul de piese de schimb pentru echipament şi planurile de furnizare pentru a monitoriza conformitatea cu bugetul şi pentru a evita întârzierile în producţie cauzate din motive tehnice.
Asigură o ajustare optimă de tehnologie pentru fabricarea produselor nou-dezvoltate şi supraveghează funcţionările de producţie pilot pentru a minimaliza erorile şi perioadele de testare.
Pregăteşte propunerea pentru bugetul departamentului şi monitorizează conformitatea cu bugetul aprobat de fabrica.
Implementează CAPEX aprobat pentru a asigura eficienţa infrastructurii departamentului.
Se informează cu privire la ultimele dezvoltări tehnice pentru a identifica şi propune mijloace de a creşte şi optimiza operaţiunea.
Instruieşte, sprijină şi motivează personalul tehnic şi de producţie pentru a asigura siguranţa, calitatea şi angajamentul.
Dezvoltă şi urmăreşte implementarea programelor de training pentru personalul departamentului pentru a asigura difuzarea expertizei tehnice în cadrul uzinei.
Participă la completarea cu succes a proiectelor speciale conducând eficient resursele atribuite.
